How the book would be different if it had been written in a different point of view

The book would be very different if it had been written in a different point of view, because the authors twist with the main character suffering from autism makes the book a little more interesting and educational. We get to get inside the head of a child with autism, and this might give the reader some understanding for people with this condition.
I think the book was interesting and exciting at times, although after some pages the author lost my attention. I kept reading and reading without really perceiving what was written. This is because of the constant side-tracks with detailed descriptions of Christophers thoughts about every little thing that crosses his mind. I understand that this is necessary to stress the fact that Christopher suffers from autism, but it’s really a risky thing to include in the book because it can cause the reader losing interest.
Though if the book was written from a “normal” persons point of view, it would be completely different and perhaps just one of many other novels with an average plot, so the autism-part is what separates the book from any other novel. Every happening in the book revolves around the fact that Christopher has this condition. An example of this is that if the story was about a “normal” boy, the father might have mentioned that Christopher mother left them, instead of telling him she was dead. The story would have been completely different.
